This study delves into the intricate landscape of innovative entrepreneurship within the Republic of Tajikistan, identifying the pivotal role of state intervention and public-private partnerships in fostering economic development through innovation. Despite the global trend towards a knowledge-driven economy, Tajikistan faces a significant gap in the integration and development of innovative activities, underscored by a stark contrast in enterprise involvement in technological innovations compared to leading economies. Employing a qualitative analysis of government programs and measures to support innovative entrepreneurship, the research elucidates the challenges of financing, legal frameworks, and human capital development that hinder the evolution of a robust innovative sector. Findings reveal that innovative enterprises in Tajikistan are scant, with a dire need for enhanced managerial capabilities and financial backing. The government's role emerges as critical in catalyzing innovation through policy reforms, targeted funding, and the establishment of innovation-friendly zones. The implications of these findings underscore the necessity for a holistic policy approach that integrates financial incentives, educational reform, and infrastructural development to bolster innovation and competitive edge on the global stage.
